Turkestan’s carpets are knotted with 100% natural materials like sheep or goat wool, silk, hemp or cotton.
The processes that take part in the creation of our carpets are environmentally friendly. All of them follow the traditional style and use natural raw materials.
Although Turkestan does not produce its carpets, it is of great importance for us that our providers subscribe international agreements against child labour and implement fair trade guidelines.
All Turkestan’s communication material has been printed with recycled paper, following the international standards.
We contribute to the global reduction of environmental impact by using LED technology to light up our carpets.
